The Cooly CourseNot only does the Cooly Classic encompass three of Australia's most revered surf breaks, but the event's backdrop consists of some of Queensland's most idyllic beaches - Rainbow Bay, Greenmount, Coolangatta and Kirra.From the white sands of Rainbow Bay you'll enter the surf just left of the Snapper Rocks surf break and swim north towards your first turn.You'll swim past Greenmount and Coolangatta beaches and onto your final turn directly in front of Kirra Beach, the final destination in this 2.0km surf challenge. The 2012 Cooly Classic also features a new 1.0km Short Course which starts on Coolangatta Beach and finishes at Kirra. This option is the perfect introduction for less experienced ocean swimmers. The Cooly Classic course was designed to allow your support crew (family and friends) to follow your progress and either walk the beach or cycle the paths before meeting you at the finish line. We encourage you to invite your family and friends and enjoy all that Coolangatta and the surrounding beaches have to offer. The Cooly Classic Course (2.0km)
